Google Plus traffic down

There have been several reports across the internet that the Google Plus social network has been dropping in traffic numbers.

Experian Hitwise data reports a 3% drop in traffic for average daily visitor numbers.

Whilst the site is still in beta mode, basically everyone can signup now if you get any invite from soneone already inside Google +

Now I am wondering about any Australian statistics in regards to Google Plus user numbers. I can’t seem to find anything – if anyone can please get in contact – david [at] socialmedianews.com.au (you will receive credit).

I am thinking Google Plus will slot in somewhere between Twitter and LinkedIn – basically a business social network with more features that Twitter, and more open in nature than LinkedIn.

I am not finding a lot of people in the social media industry and tech community in Australia though.
